If you ask yourself about becoming a truck driver and drive
a commercial truck (class A) here is something that you need to know:
When you’ll get your class “A” license and be fresh out of
trucking academy it would be very difficult for you to find a job.
If you have less than 2 years of experience it would be extremely
hard to get a good paying trucking job. You will make anywhere from $1000 to
$2000 per month after taxes.
Watch how you eat! It’s very important for your wallet and
your health. Lots of times food on truck stops is very bad for you and very
expansive too! So watch what you eat.
DO NOT LOSE YOUR FAMILY. Over the road truck drivers often divorce
because they are never home and wife’s are cheating on them.
Stay away from casino, ALL THE TIME! You don’t need their “Free
Food” Trust Me! Lots of truck drivers lost all their moneys in casinos and lost
their family’s because of that. Don’t be one of them!
Be very careful driver! Often you will drive 80.000 pounds
total weight it’s very heavy and dangerous. PLEASE be careful, watch all signs
and be aware of everything that happens on the road.
